The hearing is being
conducted to consider objections to StafFs recommended approval, with conditions, of Permit
Application M-97-086 also known as the Bedrock Mine.
Although many letters of objection were received after expiration of the public comment period,
and are therefore not parties to the Formal Public Hearing ,these objectors will be given an
opportunity to address the Board during the hearing. It may be preferable, given the limited time
(t 5 minutes) available for the public comment period, to have one or two speakers address the
Board with a collective summary of concerns.
Attached to this letter is a copy of the procedure that will be used to conduct the meeting.
if you have any questions about the hearing, procedures, or any item of concern about the
Bedrock Mine, please contact me at (303) 866-3567.
Sincerely,
~~~,~~ ~
Anthony J.
