For the second quarter, water quality samples were collected
a[ each of [he three surface water stations located on Stollsteimer Creek. Flow measurements were also
collected during the June 25, 1992 sampling. Flow measured at stations S-1, S-2, and S-3 was 6.8, 6.d, and 5.6
cfs, respectively. Water chemistry analyses for the three stations are attached. No significant changes in water
chemistry were detected from previous samplings. Also, no discharges occurred from any of the sediment
ponds during the quarter. Flow data will be collected for the third quarter during the last week of September.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Mike Keegan at the site or give
me a call.
Sincerely,
JoY` rry Kob~ ~C''~/~
Project Manager
cc: Mike Keegan -Chimney Rock Mine
Gerry Fawcett -Kaiser
JI4'ca
5990 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. Suite 104 Englewood, CO 80111
(303)850-0930 Fax (303)721-9298
