Since your inspection trip of February 5th, 1979 we have
graded, smoothed the topsoil and seeded 24 acres of this pit in accordance with your
recommendations. We feel that we were quite fortunate in getting this work done
prior to the recent moisture we have had in the area. With the coming of warmer
weather this spring we should get an excellent stand of grass.
We are requesting that the bond requirement be reduced to cover an area of 12 acres or
$8,200.00. The bond you now have was written by the United States Fidelity & Guaranty
Co, in the amount of $24,500.00 covering 36 acres in the original permit.
The seeding of the reclaimed area was done by Randall & Blake, Inc. and a copy of their
seed certification is attached.
Very truly yours,
SCHMIDT - TIAGO CONSTRUCTION C0:
-/~ ~~
>~vf s' ~,L/1 Gl~z7'
T.
