Munson, Reclamation Specialist, regarding the Hayden <br />Gulch 11ine,Permit application. <br />REVIEW QUESTION <br />e app cation states that the 3.4 acre feet of storage above the <br />sediment storage level will be pumped out. Our staff advises th t the pump <br />intake must not be below the maximum sediment storage level. Ple se clarify <br />how pumping will be accomplished without pumping sediment from t e pond. <br />RESPONSE <br />The 3.4 acre feet of storage wi17 be removed by a pump which Iwill <br />only operate when clear water is in the pit. Water removed from <br />this portion of the pond will be used for dust suppression. ~, <br /> <br /> <br />
