That Lessee may have the above described property and mine the <br />same for coal, reserving pasturage rights to lessor prior to mining. <br />In this mining operation, Lessee may do a strip mining operation and <br />may use so much of the surface, up to all of it, as may be necessary <br />for mining operations and for such other purposes as may be necessary <br />or convenient to Lessee 1n the conduct of such mining operations. <br />2. That Lessee may have all of the above described lands for a period <br />of ten years from and after date hereof and for so much longer as coal <br />is profitably produced from sold premises. <br />3. To pay alt taxes which may be assessed or imposed against said <br />tends during the term of this lease, except that any increase of taxes <br />which arises as a result of improvements placed on said property by Lessee <br />and any taxes in connection with minerals in the ground or severance <br />• taxes for minerals which are mined, shall be borne exclusively by Lessee. <br />LESSEE COVENANTS AND AGREES: <br />i 1.
