All comment and review periods began on April 1, 1998. The decision date for the application <br />is scheduled for May 1, 1998. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />the locality of the proposed mining operation, Rule 1.6.2(1)(d). Within ten (10) days after submittal, <br />you must also mail or personally serve a copy of the notice to all surface and mineral owners of the <br />affected lands and surface owners of lands within 200 feet of the boundary of affected lands, Rule <br />1.6.2(1)lel. Proof of notice and mailings, such as Certified Mail -Return Receipt Requested, must be <br />submitted to the DMG prior to the decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the <br />application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review copy which has been placed <br />with the Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder. <br />DMG is reviewing the application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of the <br />Act.
