Mr. Tom Schreiner
September 25, 2007
Page 2
~~
CIVIL RES~JU RCES,LLC
Figure 1 shows the location of the monitoring wells and the groundwater elevations measured during the July
sampling event. Groundwater contours have been drawn on the figure also based on these measurements.
The hydraulic gradient is generally highest at the southeast corner of the project as it has been in the past.
With the dewatering and recharge areas active, there is a sink hole in the gradient at the dewatering site and
a mound at both of the recharge sites. This has caused the hydraulic gradient to shift to a more westerly
direction at the site. The results of this sampling event are consistent with anticipated results when the
GWSAP was developed. Further sampling will be completed in October consistent with the approved
GWSAP.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC.
Jos~,~
Civil Engineer
J:\DenverVJater151\2007 DMG SamplingUuly07 SamplingUuly07- Itrrpt- FINAL.doc
