Present vegeta- <br />tion is almost non-existent; seeding the area at the completion of <br />mining would appear to be impractical. However the Department requests a <br />continuance of the permit application until such time as a reclamation <br />specialist can inspect the area and evaluate the Department's judgment. <br />The publication of the public notice on this pit was made on August 31 <br />and September 7. <br />In response to the inquiries on the Cruickshank pit, 7679-153: (1), (2) <br />and (3) Refer to the above text on specifications and policy for these <br />items. <br />The publication of the public notice on this pit was made on September 6 <br />and September 13. <br />In response to the inquiries on the Custer County pit 761, 7674-172: (1) A <br />wildlife species list has been submitted. {2) and (3) Refer to the above <br />text on specifications for these items. <br />The Department requests a continuance of the permit applications on the <br />Colorado River Land Corporation pit (7679-148) and the Dotsero Cinder pit <br />(7679-155) until the October Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting. <br />The publication of the public notice on the Nyrin pit (,'679-147} was made <br />on September 5 and September 12.
