C,e. i~c ~~ ~. <br />mine lnif/k'~~f,/Ecj/Gi(//S%Cusdy//f~4~i//~ZjJ~/C-.~7CLUE5j',1~f~~"S County, <br />Section, Township, Range, County <br />Colorado, bettor known as the {/EjOELRCiC-G„ Mine; and <br />WHEREAS, J/~Ec 1N C. has submitted a plan on the Proposed <br />Land Stabilization and Reclamation Procedures for the proposed ~s~iVD r~ GK~1G~~ <br />mine operations; and, <br />WHEREAS, Said /TE/DELfic`!~, mine will be operated far the <br />purpose of extracting$h'/JDzr~.Kl1yE~ for commercial marketing and, <br />WHEREAS, The Colorado Open Mining Land Reclamation Act: provides <br />,~, statutory authority for the Land Reclamation Board of the State of Colorado <br />to enter into agreements with operators or persons in charge of mining <br />operations such as those contemplated by S~Ec.. ~//C, to insure that the <br />necessary stabilization and reclamation work will be done to prevent Land- <br />slides, floods or erosion. This section of the law further pro rides that <br />the Land Reclamation Board requires a performance bond conditioned upon the <br />faithful performance of the stabilization work required by the Board; and, <br />WI.IEREAS, The Land Reclamation Board has determined that the <br />mining operation to be conducted by ,~i%'~C, L// C. in said Section~j <br />f'.S could have an adverse affect on the environment and could <br />result in landslides or erosion if proper stabilization and reclamation <br />procedures are not followed, <br />
