The Boulder and Weld County Ditch is a member of the
Water Users Association of District No. 6, one of the parties that has filed an objection. The Boulder
and Weld County Ditch is an earthen ditch that already seeps. That company needs assurance that
this mining will not increase seepage losses out of the ditch. I am contacting Mr. Weiland to obtain
that assurance and how Farfrumwurkin, LLP intends to prevent increased seepage. Until we receive
an answer to that, I am unable to withdraw the objection filed to this permit application.
Sincerely yours,
JJK:bkh
cc: Les Williams, President, District 6 Wate
David Yardley, Secretary, New Consolidated Lower Boulder Reservoir and Ditch Company
Craig Anderson, President, Boulder and Weld County Ditch
Jim Anderson, Director, Boulder and Weld County Ditch
Peter Wayland
C\clients\w\wua\filly ritlge\wrrespontlence\2005021&yk-schteinectloc
515 Kimbark Street Second Floor P.O.
