The PTI/TIE results indicate that the toxicant(s) represent pollutant(s) that may be controlled with specific numerical )units, and the Division agrees that the numerical controls are the most appropriate course of action. iii. The PTI/TIE reveals other unique conditions or characteristics which, in the opinion of the Division, justify the incorporation of unanticipated special conditions in the permit. B. MONTI'ORING REQUIREMENTS 1. Frequeucy and Sample Type In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Part I.A.1, the permittee shall monitor all effluent parameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin immediately and last for the life of the permit unless otherwise noted. The results of such monitoring shall be reported on the Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) (see Part I.E.1. for routine reporting requirements). Also see Part I.B.2. for additional monitoring requirements. a. Oil and Grease Monit For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in the event an oil sheen or Floating oil is observed, a grab sample shall be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be taken itrtmediately to mitigate the discharge of oil and grease. A description of the corrective action taken should be included with the DMR. Self-monitoring sampling by the pettttittee for compliance with the monitoring requirements specified above shall be performed a[ the following locations: ou[falls 001, 002 and 003 -- all after final treatment and prior to entering Deer Trail Ditch.
