:_ <br />~ -~'. <br />SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS (continued) <br />4. In general, specific guidelines as outlined by <br />other Larimer County Land Use Resolutions or <br />by Colorado statutes shall be followed when <br />applicable in making application for a use <br />permitted by special review. <br />All hearings before the Planning Commission <br />and the Board of County Commissioners con- <br />cerning special review shall be open to the <br />public. Notice of a Planning Commission <br />hearing upon the special review request shall <br />be published at least seven (7) days prior <br />to the date of said hearing in a newspaper of <br />general circulation within Larimer County. <br />Such notice shall designate the time and place <br />of the hearing, the location of the proposed <br />use and the type of use proposed. A similar <br />notice of the County Commissioner's hearing <br />upon said special review shall be published <br />at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date <br />of said hearing in a newspaper of general <br />circulation within the County. <br />6. Written notice of the Planning Commission <br />hearing and the County Commissioner's hearing <br />upon said proposed special review use may be <br />sent first class mail at least seven (7) <br />days prior to the hearing date to all land <br />owners within the area proposed for the special <br />use and to all owners within 500 feet of such <br />area. The mailing of such notice shall be <br />discretionary with the County Planning Commission <br />and the Board of County Commissioners and a <br />failure to mail such notice shall not affect <br />the validity of any proceeding before the <br />Planning Commission or the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />~` " 7. Any applicant who presents a petition showing <br />~< unanimous consent of all property owners and <br />residents within 500 feet of the property on <br />,~}.;• which the request for an oil well is made <br />~ shall not be required to present his request <br />;' to the Larimer County Planning Commission and <br />may proceed directly to the hearing with the <br />~: ~~` Board of County Commissioners. <br />~I~~=1~.i iA <br />tl <br />- 55 - <br />
