Forest Service <br />lands. <br />The plant will be located oa the cast side of Y;indy Gulch just opposite <br />the 9560 Level portal. Aline discharge will be piped to the plant c:~herc dis- <br />solved heavy metals and suspended solids will be removed fro;n the drainage. <br />The clarified plant effluent r:i11 discharge into 1'Jindy Culch which joins 1Villow <br />Creek just north of the City of Creede, Sludge from the plant Weill be pumped <br />to the flotation lail7. and subsequently to the new tailings pond. <br />Mater treatment is necessary in order to meet requircr+ents of L'ulldog's <br />National Pollutant discharge Elir..ination System (NPDES) Permit No. CO-0000710. <br />'flee permit system is administrated by the Colorado Department of llealth nlhich <br />has directed that the Bulldog lfountain Operation treat the mine discharge.
