The mine area is on gravel hills.
Laying adjacent to the north is bottom-land, farm ground. There is
over 30+ feet elevation from the gravel hills down to the bottom
land. The wells discussed are in this bottom ground not on the
hill.
we still do not anticipate ground water in the gravel hills as we
have dug test holes and have not encountered any ground water in
the hills.
The pond indicated on our maps is actually an erosion control dam,
and it is located in a draw. The intent of this dam is to
intercept any rain runoff before it exits into the farm ground
north of there.
it is our intent to obtain water from Pantaleo for dust abatement,
and if needed, for wash water. we understand there are other
~ agencies that regulate the use of this water. We will continue to
D pursue that. Until the time we have received approval from those
agencies, we will truck in water for our dust control needs. Wash
water will not be used until we have approval.
The source of irrigation water for revegetation will Pantaleo
~~ irrigation water.
If you have any questions, please call.
Cordially
~''„v ~~
mes H.
