• Location T47N, R16W, sec. 36, SW1t, NElt, SE>,, along the ridge separating Tuttle Draw and <br />Calamity Draw. The unit is equipped with a 32-day electric drive chart mechanism with a <br />resolution of +/- 0.01 inch and +/- 1.0 hour. <br />The purpose of this installation is to quantify precipitation and to determine <br />rainfall intensity in case of a possible 10-year, 24-hour storm event. Monitoring is <br />on a monthly basis for chart changes, and a bimonthly basis for battery and chart pen <br />changes. As of this writing, 95 of 130 possible days of usable data have been <br />collected for a 73 percent recovery rate.
