We've addressed them. We've
talked openly with those people. We've tried to
share with them all the information that wee have.
We've discussed it with MLRD staff. We think we have
addressed all of those 100 percent.
We are confident in our design and our
plan as Steve described it there, and we kr.~ow that
it's going to be a safe operation.
It's about a seven- to ten-year
project. The heap leach and those waste dump
facilities are not expanded out. That's the worst
case scenario there. That's 560 acres of disturbed
land. It only grows as time goes.
The heap leach area is expanded each
and every year as opposed to us going in there and
creating this large area from moisture up front, but
we've designed for the hundred-year/24-hour event for
the worst case.
~ But actually the pad area only
reaches its largest area of precipitation catchment
during the last six and seven and eight years.
