Copies of the inspection reports are <br />enclosed for your review. <br />With regard to Pond 1, repairs to the upstream face of the embankment (re-shaping, riprap <br />facing, repair of burrows, and reseeding as necessary) are contemplated as soon as <br />conditions (dry ground) permit. Top-of-fill construction stakes were placed for reconstitution <br />of the upstream face. There was too much water in the pond to place toe-of-fill stakes (at <br />the 3 horizontal to 1 vertical proposed slope). <br />With regard to Pond 2, some vegetation is appearing on the downstream slope of the dam <br />from the seeding last fall. The reappearance of cracks (observed throughout the general <br />vicinity) are probably due to desiccation of the materials of the dam.
