QUARTERLY SEDIMENTATION POND INSPECTION REPORT <br />CDMR Rule 4.05.6(13) <br />Mine: Southfield <br />Pond Identification: Pond #2 (Water Storage) <br />Inspection Period: 3~tr 2000 <br />Inspection Date: September 1, 2000 <br />General Description or Reference to Site Plan: <br />This pond is located east of the preparation plant facility. The pond is partially incised with moderate <br />interior and varying exterior slopes. The pond interior is hypalon lined and the perimeter is fenced. <br />The water level was approximately two feet below the targeted high-water level. (The water level <br />is manually controlled by operator). <br />EMBANKMENT <br />1). Adequacy of the vegetative cover: <br />2). Erosion forming Gullies: <br />3). Is wave action causing erosion: <br />On the Upstream embankment? <br />At the principal spillway inlet? <br />4). Erosion of the downstream toe of the embankment? <br />Cause of erosion can be attributed to: <br />5).
