The Colorado Department of Transportation has cxtt~leted its review of the
Environmental Analysis for the Sanerset Mining Company Calq~arty Coal Lease
Application C-53510 and has the following comlents.

The Department requests that tie be granted additional right of way through the
lease area. The additional widths needed will be 100 feet left and right of the
centerline of the existing highway for a total of 200 feet through this coal
lease area.
We note that the access and other coal transportation aspects (haul, loadouts,
access) of the project have not yet been located or finalized. When these
transportation elements are finalized, they will need to be coordinated with and
reviewed by cur District IiI office in Grand Junction (P.O. Hox 2107, 81502).
Also, any new access points from the State highway system to the mining loadout
and haul road areas may require access permits fran the Department.
