a) On July 26, 2002, an exhibit depicting an estimate of current hydrostratigraphic conditions and potential effects <br />of the mining operation was submitted to The Division of Minerals and Geology for review. Additionally, <br />although [he applicant does not anticipate [hat the lined reservoir will affect alluvia] groundwater elevations up <br />or down gradient of the site, the applicant has committed to monitoring groundwater levels to detect and mitigate <br />potential impacts [o the alluvial groundwater elevation due to mining operations or reclamation activities. <br />b) On July 26, 2002, a description of the geology underlying the site and alluvial aquifer characterization were <br />submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology for review, and was deemed adequate by the Division; <br />c) Water requirements for the project aze estimated by the applicant to be 15.7 acre-feet per year for consumptive <br />use; <br />d) On July 26, 2002, a breakdown of the source and consumption of water for the project an the source for <br />replacement water for the water consumed by the project were submitted to the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology for review. The applicant has adequate water rights to replace any water that is consumed through <br />evaporative losses; <br />e) A copy of the water augmentation plan submitted to the Office of the State Engineer was submitted to the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology for review. It is the responsibility of the Office of the State Engineer to <br />review the plan for adequacy. <br />
