3.6.3.7 Weed Control <br />Weed control will be practiced sparingly at Trapper Mine on rangelands to avoid <br />killing volunteer or seeded seedlings of desirable perennial species and to avoid <br />overreaction to what should be considered a natural phenomenon. Newly disturbed <br />areas can be expected to be dominated by annuals during the first few years of <br />revegetation and will gradually give way to the slower but more persistent peren- <br />nials.
