Waldron, Environmental Protection Specialist Li r-~ 7ro f ~", w <br />RE: Kit Cazson County, Smith Pit, File No. M-2006-049 <br />Please be advised that on June 22, 2006, Kit Carson County, whose address and telephone number are Chairman P.O. <br />Box 160, Burlington, CO 80807; (719) 346-8139, filed an application to conduct Surface extraction of construction <br />materials and reclamation, at or neaz Section 10, Township 7S, Range 44W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Kit Cazson County. <br />Please be advised that the permit area may be located in more than one Section, Township, and Range, The application <br />decision is scheduled for July 24, 2006. <br />A copy of the application is available far review, unless you receive a CD, at [he Kit Carson County Clerk & Recorder's <br />office and at the office of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado <br />80203. <br />If you desire to make comments or objections of the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted <br />within ten (10) days of the date of the newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date.
