EXHIBIT A

Million Ag Investments, P.O. Box 25, Montrose, Colorado 81401,
is applying for a Regular (112) Operation Reclamation Permit to
extract sand and gravel within the proposed Spring Creek Gravel
Pit, located in the SE1/4 NW1/4, Section 13, Township 49 North,
Range 10 West, New Mexico Principal Meridian about four (4) miles
northwest of Montrose, Colorado.
The gravel deposit, forty (40) feet in thickness, overlies
the Dakota Sandstone and Burro Canyon Formation, of Cretaceous Age,
consisting of sandstones, conglomerates, and local beds of coaly
shale. These beds dip easterly into the north trending Montrose
Syncli_me, which defines the "grain" of the bedrock in the general
area, Where exposed on the surface these units form resistant rims
and caps many of the mesas, except where they are covered by
gravel, and extensive flat areas in the general area of Montrose.
The gravel deposit is comprised entirely of hard, well
indurated volcanic rock, derived from the San Juan Mountains during
late Pleistocene time.
,>
