~ ~ III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
999
January 25, 1980
Nr. Don Rriz
Pfountain Mobile Pfix, Inc.
Box 517
Frisco, Colorado 30443
FE: tII1M/Chambers Pit
Our File No. 79-205
Dear tfr. Rriz:
On January 23, 1980, the Mined Land Reclamation Board approved your application
for a conversion from a 110 (limited impact) to a 112 (regular) mining and re-
clamation permit on the above captioned operation. The approval was contingent
upon receipt by the Division of proof of publication on the entire 20 acres and
no receipt of objections to the permit before the end of the 20-day public review
period beginning after the last date of publication. Receipt of objections would
reopen the permit consideration.
If no objections are received before the end of the 20-day period, upon receipt
and approval of the $37,500 in additional bond (total bond being set at $40,000),
a mining and reclamation permit will be issued to you for the PIMM/Chambers Pit.
For information concerning the form surety can take, refer to Rula 7.'1.
On January 24, 19"00, I received a letter from the Division of Water Resources
(copy enclosed). In this letter they express reservations about your operation.
As the Board has already approved your permit application, I enclose a copy of
this letter merely for your information so that you may clear up any potential
problems c+ith water if and when they arise.
If I can be of any further assistance in this matter, please call me. I expect
to hear from you soon concerning proof of publication and surety.
Sincerely,
Mark S. Loye
Reclamation Specialist
Enclosure
MSL/co
