<br /> <br />LA FLORIDA GRAVEL PIT <br />EXHIBIT F <br />hlining Plan <br />The Conejos County Road and Bridge Department is planning expansion of an <br />existing gravel pit as a primary source of grave] on the South East side <br />of the County. hlining will start in the Northeast half of the permit <br />area and proceed from East to West boundry. Depth of the gravel extends <br />to approximately - twenty (20) feet throughout the allotted parcel. Pit <br />run from the gravel deposit will last approximately five (5) years based <br />on estimated annual useage. It is estimated that active mining will take <br />place about ]60 days per year. <br />Top soil (what exists) will be removed and stockpiled prior to surface <br />disturbance. Topsoil ~oill be stored on a 100 Coo[ strip of the permit <br />area, running North and South through the middle of the permit area. <br />Topsoil will be used for reclamation. Topsoil stockpiles will not <br />exceed a heightof 10 to 12 feet to lessen their visual em pact. <br />Operations will be conducted with a <br />when the ground is frozen.
