Three permit limitation exceedences are reported for fourth quarter. <br />Quarterly Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) tests were performed on Outfalls 001 and 005 the week of Ottober 19, 1998 <br />for both C. dubs and P. promelas. Outfall OOlpazsed Eor C Dubin with "Concentrations with Statistically Significant <br />Difference in Lethality" reported at > 100%, while Outfall 005 Failed at 100%. Both Outfalls failed for P Promelas <br />with "Concentrations with Statistically Significant Difference in Lethality" repotted ac 50% for Outfall 001 and 75°b for <br />Outfa11005. Copies of the CDPS WET Test Report Forms for both species are included in the submittal. <br />Accelerated testing waz not initiated for these failures due to our investigative study that is currently being conducted. <br />This matter haz been previously arranged between TCC and CDOH. <br />Outfalls 002, 004, 006, 007, 008, 009, 010, 016 and 017 did not discharge during this period. Outfal1020 hu not been <br />construtted yet; therefore, there is no discharge to enable chemical or toxicological testing to date. <br />Ou[falls 001, 005, and 007 are being tested for Hardness in addition to the required parameters. TCC is condutting <br />some internal sampling co Further explain some issues that have previously been in question with the NPDES <br />requirements.
