<br />(970) 385-4606, has filed an application for a revision to Mining and Reclamati
<br />035 with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under the Colorado Su
<br />Reclamation Act of 1979. The mine is located in portions of Sections 31 and 3'
<br />N.M.P. M., Section 36; T35N, R12W, N. M.P.M., and Sections 5, 6, 7 and 8; T3~
<br />N.M.P.M., La Plata County, Colorado. The surface of the area to be mined is
<br />Lawrence Huntington, Ronald Crawford, Norris Crawford, Marc Crawford, A
<br />Paulek, Loretta Lee, Linda Matticks, Marshall Herrera, et al, Richard Tipotscl
<br />State of Colorado. All mining activities of the King Coal Mine lie to the south
<br />Gulch, approximately 4.5 miles southwest of Hesperus, as identified on U.S.G..
<br />Quadrangles of Hesperus and Kline. Federal coal has been extracted from the
<br />since 1941. Extended mining is proposed on Federal Coal Mining Lease COC-
<br />private coal mining lease held by Richard Tipotsch, et al, more particularly des
<br />Federal Coal Lease #COC-60941 (Modified to add 160 acres)
