(7) Maximum slopes and slope combinations shall be compatible with the configuration of the <br />surrounding conditions and selected land use. Where the pit does not daylight, backsloping during <br />mining will be completed at a slope of 3H:1 V or flatter. No lakes or ponds aze designed for the final <br />reclamation, which is rangeland. Therefore, no swimming azeas aze proposed. <br />(8) The Operator's/Applicant's and Landowners' choice of rangeland reclamation for cattle <br />production will require slopes of 3H:1 V or flatter in order to establish good cattle grazing areas, and <br />to prevent erosion. Farm machinery will be used only at the time of revegetation and will not be a <br />factor long range. <br />(9) The Operator/Applicant, in conjunction with the landowners, will use rejecboverburden to fill <br />areas only within the MLRB Permit boundary. <br />(a) N/A <br />(b) N/A <br />(c) N/A <br />(d) N/A <br />(e) N/A <br />(f) N/A <br />(10) All mined material will be handled in such a manner so as to prevent any unauthorized <br />pollutants to the surface drainage system. The sand and gravel stockpiles will be located and <br />arranged to avoid any uncontrolled runoffof stormwater from this site. Earthen Berms will be used <br />to keep storm water from going off site. Along with this prevent measure a Storm Water <br />Management Plan will be implemented. <br />(11) No groundwater pollutants will be released at this site. This mine is a high and dry azea, and <br />the deposit is sand and gravel with no known pollutants. No ground water will be exposed during <br />mining. <br />
