•
Addendum
TO
Exhibit D

RECEIVED
nci 22 1996
Division of Minerals & Geology
(a) As each smaller geographic area of the permit area is quarried down to the
point where rock is no longer acceptable or not cost effective to remove, the area
will be reclaimed with soil previously removed from quarry areas. All rubble will
be returned to low areas of quarry. All soil will be returned to quarry area for
reclamation purposes. Soil returned should be 6 to 12 inches deep.
(b) All slopes will be held to a maximum of 3:1 and every effort will be made
to hold the slopes to a 4:1 or flatter. This should be possible because quarry
operation will basically be removing the top of the hill.
(c) (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi)
See attached Soil Conservation Report. This report pretty well covers all
of these points and will be followed for reclamation of area, In addition to this, pine
cones will be picked up from trees in surrounding area, crushed, and seeds scattered over
area to get trees native to area restarted. A few trees have restarted, in some areas of
previous quarrying, by natural methods, so we feel this will work.
(d) No ponds will be created by our quarrying operations.
There will not be any buildings remaining in the permit area.
The only road left in the permit area will be a four wheel drive trail
previously there for access to rest of property.
(e) All waste rock or rubble will be used to fill any low areas left by the
quarrying operation.
(f) There should not be any more than 500 or 1000 yards of displaced
material at any one time. during the quarrying operation.
$2000 = 20 hr. of dozer or loader work at $100 per hr.
$750 =Seed for permit area.
$400 =For fertilizer if necessary.
$500 =For seeding operation.
$3,650 =Total for reclamation of area.
We plan to do this in small stages as operation progresses.
