Aggregate Industries - WCR, Inc.
Application Receipt No. 510199
I am confused, however, as Section 9 of the permit application makes no mention of diversion of
any water or dewatering. If this gravel pit well permit application is simply to account for
evaporative losses, dust control, and retained moisture in extracted material, we have no
objection to the issuance of this permit. The conditions of the permit, however, should
specifically state that dewatering activities or diversion of water withdrawn from the pond is
prohibited. We strongly object to a well permit that would allow dewatering of the Jeronimus
pit.
Sincerely, /~~,
Karen & Ralf Topper
Cc: Mike Refer, Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc.
Larry Oehler, Division of Minerals and Geology
