Ca[tany <br />Acting Division Director <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology has completed review of the 15` 2"d and 3rd <br />quarter 2002 sediment pond inspection reports for the Raton Creek mine, #C-82-055. <br />Each inspection report demonstrates compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17) for <br />impoundments. Observations are consistent with field observations noted during <br />Division inspections periodical{y throughout the year. Photographs as included are an <br />excellent addition to documenting conditions as observed during the inspections. <br />We have no further questions or comments at this time.
