~;i.V I. <br />e:~ <br />C.'i <br />i' <br />Abstract <br />+ Twelve irregular block areas for gob vent/de-gas bore holes, 2.7 miles of possible access upgrade, <br />and 1.6 miles ofabove-ground high pressure hose corridor were inventoried for cultural resources by <br />~..; intensive pedestrian survey. Greystone completed the work for the West Elk Mine on property in <br />Gunnison County under the jurisdiction of the US Forest Service, West Zone, Grand Mesa, <br />Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forest. Surveyed gob vent/de-gas borehole locations <br />~~ included SOM-123/96-27-1, BBB, R.AV-2, RAV-10, SONS-124, SOM-126, SOM-60, SOIvt-21, <br />SOM-~3, RAV-8, and two alternative locations for RAV-8. This includes additional areas ofsurvey <br />ff ' for previously reported locations 96-27-1 and SONI 124. Total area ofsurvey was approximately <br />Il 108 acres of federal surface administered by the US Forest Service, Gunnison National Forest.
