EXHIBIT H -WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />The land surrounding the Longmont Operation site is lazgely agricultural, with a sand and gravel <br />mine to the northwest and a former sand and gravel mine to the east. The proposed mine site itself <br />presently rnnsists of partially irrigated pastureland. The site contains relatively little cover or suitable <br />habitau azea for wildlife. <br />Wildlife present in the area are deer, beaver, muskrat, coyote, fox, skunk, raccoon, waterfowl, <br />rabbits, shorebirds, pheasant, dove, raptors, numerous small rodents and seasonal songbirds, Species <br />typical of a streambank envirotunent may be seen in the azea due to the presence of Boulder Creek. <br />There are no known threatened or endangered species, no critical habitats, and the assessed impact to <br />wildlife is minor. <br />Per Mined Land regulations, a Mine Land Wildlife Questionnaire has been sent to the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife.
