The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land
Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for:

wildlife Species list: Coyote, Raccoon, Skunk, Grey fox, Cottontail rabbit, Jackrabbit,
Beaver, Kestrel, Great Horned Owl, Rough legged hawk, Swainson's Hawk, D1orning dove,
Bobwhite quail, songbird sp., rodent sp.
Endangered/critical species/impacted: None known.
Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: Tamarisks, grasses, forbs are t11e
only vegetation on or near this site. Therefore, riparian habitats will not be affected.
Upland game habitats which would utilize crops are not available. Most roosting trees
(Cottonwoods, elm) have been removed previously.
Assessment of impact: Detrimental impacts should be minimal as most of this land has
already been disturbed from its native setting.
Beneficial impacts should result, should the resulting ponds be stocked and opened to
public fishing.
Mine Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration
is designed).
Slope sides 3 to 1.
Revegetate according to SCS specifications.
Open to public use.
