This letter is regarding the DMG Board Hearing for CAMAS, Colorado Inc., Riverview
Resources Mine Site. In speaking with Christina Kamnikar yesterday, she stated that all
but the Kyne's had withdrawn their objections. She also indicated that she had spoken
with the Cunnings who indicated they would send their withdrawal in [he mail. She had
not received it yet and was going to call and ask them to fax it to her.
With the above in mind, it appeazs that the only issue the DMG Board will need to
consider is item number 2 under Section III. Issues to be Considered, of [he Pre-hearing
Order. This issue was derived at the pre-hearing conference regarding the Kyne Letter.
In responding to this issue, please be assured that compliance with local requirements is
currently being obtained. The Weld County Commissioners will review the Use by
Special Review Permit application at its hearing next Wednesday, the 29th of March.
In speaking with you today, you indicated that this mining permit was currently schedule
as the third item on the Board Agenda tomorrow.
