ClQSS; Y'ty`~~~~j
Water Division 1, Water District 3, Weld County
Dear Mr. Schreiner:
In regards to our meeting on February 27, 2003 with Mr. Bradford Janes and Mr. Chris Varra concerning
the above referenced gravel pit, we have agreed to allow the operator six (6) months to obtain a substitute water
supply plan to replace operational and evaporation losses. We are requesting the operator submit a request for
a substitute water supply plan with the $1343 fee within three months of today to allow time for review of the plan
by our outside consultant.
By copy of this letter we are forwarding information in our file on this pit for use by the operator.
Additionally, we have checked our well database and it appears that a well permit application for exposure of
ground waterwas never submitted. Accordingly, the requestfora supply plan will need to include a well permit
application (and filing fee) for the exposure of groundwater.
If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Deatherage of this office.
Sincere
Wolfe, P.E.
Water Resource Engineer
DW/JD
cc: Dave Nettles, Assistant Division Engineer
Bradford Janes, Varra Companies, Inc.
