Samples were taken on February 26, 1982
at 3:30 P.M. by Myself and Craig Springer of the Bear Coal Company
and on March 3, 1982 at 10:00 A.M. by myself.. The temperatures
of the samples at the time taken were 10° C and 7° C respectively.
The samples were taken as grab samples at the discharge end of the
pump outlet directly South of the mine shop. Analysis was done
by Grand Junction Laboratories using standard methods.
The radioactivity analysis will be forwarded as soon as completed.
The water being pumped from the Fan House has NOT discharged to
the river but the sampling and analysis was done so that we would
know what was being discharged if a discharge did occur.
