SAMPLE PRPARATION
All solid samples were first air dried then crushed to -10 mesh
and thoroughly blended.
*SAMPLE TREATMENT DESCRIPTION
An Air dried Split was rinsed with D.I. water at a 5:1 ratio of
liquid to solid in ~ glass beaker with gentle stirring fcr 20 minutes.
The solids and liquid were then separated via mud press and the liquid
was measured for pH. This treatment was repeated until a stable pH was
obtained.
