It should also be pointed out that because of the nature <br />of data obtained by random sampling in such variable and nonhomo- <br />geneous materials as soil and rock, it is important that we be in- <br />formed of any differences observed between the surface and subsurface <br />conditions encountered during construction and those assumed and out- <br />' lined in the body of this report. Operational and design personnel <br />' should be made familiar with the contents of this report.
