C~
4.06.5 RECONDITIONING
In order to promote effective vegetation reestablishment, EFCI will sample
and complete laboratory analyses on the upper four (4) feet of replaced
soil and underlying materials prior to seeding. If soil analysis results
indicate deficiencies of critical soil nutrients, EFCI will design a soil
conditioning program in cooperation with, and based upon the
recommendations of Colorado State University Cooperative Extension
Service. If sampling results indicate potential suitability problems, the
area/increment of concern will be resampled. If the backup sample(s) also
indicates potential unsuitable materials, EFCI will delineate the
potentially unsuitable materials, and either remove the materials and
replace them with suitable material, or cap the unsuitable area with an
adequate thickness of suitable material.

C~
4.06-6
