Covey Mine
110 (1) Application
Dear Mr. Hernandez,
We are adjacent landowners of the above proposed mining
operation. We are vehemently opposed to the above applicant's
mining operation. We are quite concerned with the possibility of
an illegal trespass on our land. I have looked at the documents
on file at the Boulder County Recorder's office and it appears
that the location of the mine is not being based on a current,
fully staked survey from a licensed surveyor.
We are also very much concerned about the impact on the
environment in Sunshine Canyon. The area is already experiencing
water run-off problems. The added truck traffic caused by the
mining operation would create more problems on an already
dangerous road. In addition, we are deeply concerned
about a facility to concentrate the ore and about a powder and
detonator storage area on the premises so dose to residential
areas.
We request a formal public hearing on this matter.
Thank yuu, ~
~f~ tiD"l~T'w ~f'
L~y Christiansen
Jill Dohm Christiansen
6191 Sunshine Canyon Dr.
Boulder, CO 80302
4 F ~.
~uu J 198[1
fiECtA?v1w, i i0fd U;ti:~~:~R
