• •
EXHIBIT D
i ,
MINING PLAN AND TI9IETABLE

History. The property included in this application was
' acquired in two stages. In November 1973, 100.403 acres +
known as Road Runners Rest was purchased from Denver Aggregates,
Inc. On May 20, 1977, the Himes property, including approximately
96.402 acres was obtained.
Although the acreage known as Road Runners Rest was rezoned
to permit sand and gravel extraction under a Mineral Extraction
(M-C) zoning, no mining was ever started on the property. Another

piece of the property was zoned Alineral Extraction (M-C) (see map
~ Exhibit C) at the time when the county initiated that zoning
classification. The remainder was zoned Flood Control (F-C).
All acreage included in this application is included in a rezoning
application containing the same excavation and reclamation plan
contained herein. That rezoning application will be submitted
for approval by Adams County simultaneous to the submission of
this application (see Exhibit ~i - Local Government Approval to be
' entered when obtained.
Current Conditions
I~Sap Exhibits C and C-1 show the outline of the affected land,
touching landowners, current topography, existing soil and
vegetation conditions and hydrologic conditions.

f - 5 - (Revised 1/80)
