The grass seed mixture which the operator plans <br />to use has been recommended by the SCS and amended by the MLRB <br />' staff as follows: <br /> Species Lbs. PLS/Acre <br />' Tall Wheatgrass 3.5 <br />L Fairway Wheatgrass 3.5 <br /> Smooth Bromegrass 3.0 <br /> Alkali Sacaton 1.0 <br /> Total 11.0 <br />' Where topography permits, a grassla nd drill will be used to plant <br /> the seed mixture. Seed amounts wil l be doubled and the seed <br />1 <br /> mixture will be broadcast in areas too small or too steep for <br />' drilling. Planting of grasses will occur in the fall of each <br /> planting year when possible, otherw ise planting will be between <br />' April 1 and May 15 of each planting year. <br /> Mulch.
