Young <br />Chief Executive Officer <br />Shawn Price began his employment with American Cometra, inc in September of 1993 <br />following Contetra's acquisition of the Oakrid~;e oil and has property located near <br />Sonora, Texas. Shawn had previously worked for the owner/operator of the field for <br />many years. During the company's evaluation of the existing field personnel, Shawn was <br />recognized as a valuable field hand who could provide needed transition support, with <br />potential to do much more than he had beet given the opportunity to in the past. His <br />employment with Cometra was a top priority with respect to the immediate assumption of <br />operations following the close of the acquisition and the implementation of an extensive <br />drilling program and facilities upgrade. <br />Shawn started as a pumper. He demonstrated a high degree of dependability in a very <br />short period of time and was promoted to Lease Operator III the following year. His <br />ability to work with people at levels below and above him earned Hint the respect of <br />everyone in the of3ice. Shawn also showed a willingness to learn new concepts and adapt <br />to changes that developed in the oil and gas i+tdust+y during [Iris period. Additionally, Ile <br />often managed to solve old problems by implementing new solutions <br />His honest and hardworking ways, combined with his intelligence and common sense, <br />made him a ltigltly valued field employee with Cometra. He possesses the character and <br />capacity to excel at whatever cltallen~;e Ile faces. <br />During 1996 American Cometra, Inc. chose to divest of its Oakridge property. As such, <br />Shawn had an opportunity to move in a new direction and resigned in August of 1996 just <br />prior to the prope+y changing ownership.
