~;-~
Mr. Thomas S. Hendricks
April 30, 1993
Page No. 2

Outfall OO1X relates to the results of your chronic biomonitoring test. Per our conversation, you
were unaware that the permit required such monitoring and therefore have not performed any
chronic testing. Failure to perform chronic testing is a violation of your permit :md subject to
enforcement action. As we discussed the next reporting period is January 1, 1993 through June
30, 1993. Please make the arrangements to perform this testing and submit the proper DMRs.
As for the DMRs for the testing you did not do, we request that you submit them and state that
no testing was done. The Division will evaluate what if any action to take on the failure to
perform the chronic testing for 1992.
(n addition, in reviewing the permit 1 noted that the Final effluent limitations went into effect in
March 1, 1993. The Division anticipates that you have taken [he necessary measures to bring
the discharge into compliance with these limitations. Please be advised that failure to comply
with these limitations will result in enforcement action by the Division.
Please contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Patricia A.
