Long <br />Division Detector <br />Please find enclosed, copy of a request for administrative appeal of DMG's October 20, 1999 <br />approval decision for the Brown Derby Mine application. The request for appeal was submitted in <br />accordance with Rule 1.4.7, by Robert Wright, attorney for the owners of the McLain Ranch. <br />Rule 1.4.7 Administrative Appeal -Limited Impact 110 and 1 fOd Operations <br />Any person aggrieved, by any final action of the Office, may file an appeal of such <br />action before the Board within sixty (601 days of the date of the Office decision (such <br />hearings before the Board shall comply with this Rule and the State Administrative <br />Procedures Act, Section 24-4-f05 and 106, C. R. S.I. The Request for Administrative <br />Appeal muse specify the application number assigned by the Office and all factual and <br />legal questions which the Applicant wishes to have the Board decide. <br />Pursuant to Rule 1.4.7 and 1.4.2(4), DMG will schedule the issue for Formal Public Hearing before <br />the Board, and will provide thirty (30) day notice of the hearing to all persons entitled to notice of the <br />hearing. The next two available meetings of the Board are January 26-27, 2000, and February 23- <br />24, 2000, scheduled to occur at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado.
