4.03.1(4) DRAINAGE <br />• Each access road has been designed to have adequate drainage via <br />trapezoidal ditches located on the upslope side of the road. The design <br />is the same design as recommended by Anne Ha ldridge of the Mined Land Rec- <br />lamation Division for all of the proposed ditches. Dlatural drainages have <br />not been altered or relocated for the purpose of access. No significant <br />drainage will be incurred by the hydrologic balance and there will be no <br />adverse impact on adjoining landowners. Measures will be taken to control <br />erosion. Blue Flame Coal Mine proposes to line these ditches with rocks <br />disturbed during ditch construction, with the size of the rocks limited <br />from six inches to 12 inches wide and three to five inches thick. The <br />road slopes off very slightly to the North, thus eliminating ponding of <br />water and erosion of the road surfaces. <br />• <br /> <br />
