This <br />native range site makes up lees than 246 of the range sites in Otero, <br />County. <br />The potential plant community for this range site !a mado up largely of <br />mid grasses, such ae little blueetem, aide-oats grams, western aheatgrass <br />and tall dropseed. Shrubs such as ekunkbueh, yucca, rabbitbrush, aild- <br />rooe and leadplsnt make up moat of the mst, r~ith minor amounts of <br />- three-aan, galleta, cactus and lupine. Blue grams is the dominant <br />increaser. The optimum ground cover for this site ie 30 percent, <br />Ezietins; vegetation o n the x.10 scree of proposed gravel pit consists <br />of approximately ']0$6 blue grams, ~ western tiheatgraee, 546 thx~e-awn <br />and $~ galleta greys.
