We have revised Exhibit F. to have a sediment forebay. Going with the forebay <br />embankment itself, sutmerged one foot below the expected waterline so that the <br />twv bodies are connected under water. <br />( see attached exhibit G ) <br />2. a. Yes, all the settled mud will be used for the purpose of topsoil. The settling <br />pond will drain, so that the mud will be able to dry and be pushed out to be used. <br />b. The Par Pollution Control Division is reviewing our application.We have <br />stated that. because we will be a wet operation, and won't be produceing anywhere <br />near the 1 ton of pollution per year, we feel we are not applicable, and will not <br />need this permit. <br />3. We have made the decision not to stockpile the material on a different location. <br />Because we will only dredge approximately 5,000 yds. of material per summer, and <br />will use about 10,000 yards of the processed material on the location for roads, sand <br />for the playground, concrete mix for the spillway,R V pads, sidewa7l:s,and for the <br />construction of campground office. <br />4. a. We ha/e contacted the Soil Conservation Dept. for the 100 year,24 hour <br />storm event, and they will be responding to that question in writting to be sub- <br />mitted to y~~ur office. (see attached). <br />b. The vertical distance between the top of the spillway, and the dam is S feet. <br />c. We pl~~n to use 8 to 12 inches of rip-rap for the spillway. <br />FSchibit E - F~clamation Plan <br />6. We will :_ollow the Divisions recrorm~endation, and use the seed mixture that the SCS <br />has reccim~ended. We will also follow their recx~rtmPndation on fertilizer requirements. <br />401bs. phosf~horous and 401bs. nitrogen per acre, with mulching at tro tons per acre. <br />
