BOX 187 <br />Craig, CO 81626 <br />Re: Trapper Mine, C-81-010, First Quarter Sediment Pond Inspection Reports <br />Deaz Mr. Mattern: <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Inc.'s First Quarter 2004 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />TMI's first quarter 2004 sediment pond reports were received by the Division on Mazch 29, 2004. <br />Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections <br />were conducted by TMI on March 2, March 3, and March 23, 2004. <br />Most ponds were either dry or snow or ice covered during the first quarter inspection. Three ponds were <br />reported discharging at the NPDES point time they were inspected. These ponds include No Name No. <br />5, Johnson l OR and Middle Flume No. 3. No maintenance items were noted in the reports.
